Thompson RCMP arrest male after responding to alarm call

On July 14, 2024, at approximately 5:45 am, RCMP responded to a report of an alarm at a business on Station Road, in Thompson.

Officers attended and observed a male behind the business who was seen throwing items over and then climbed the fence and fled. Officers were able to follow the male and he was arrested a short distance away without incident. He was in possession of stolen property belonging to the business.

A 17-year-old male from Thompson has been charged with Breaking and Entering and Possession of Stolen Property Obtained by Crime. He was remanded into custody.
