Sketch of the suspect

The Sackville RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault in the community.

The incident occurred in October 2020. As part of the investigation, police are now releasing a composite sketch of the suspect in hopes that someone may be able to identify him.

The individual has a slim build and is approximately five feet eleven inches (180 centimeters) tall. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a surgical mask and has a tattoo of a sword on his face.

"We are hoping the sketch will help identify the suspect and provide information that might further the investigation," says Sgt. Eric Hanson with the Sackville RCMP. "If you recognize him, please call police. Any bit of information helps."

Anyone with information that may help further the investigation is asked to contact the Sackville RCMP at 506-533-5151. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca

The investigation is ongoing.
