Alexis Traverse has been safely located.

The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.

On August 7, 2024, at 10:55 pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a missing 17-year-old female.

Alexis Traverse was camping with her family in the Lower Fort Garry area when she left and did not return.

The investigation to date has resulted in numerous tips indicating that Traverse may be in the city of Winnipeg however officers have yet to speak with her.

Traverse is described as 5'5", thin build with brown hair and brown eyes.
