Selkirk RCMP arrest male in relation to five armed robberies

Between August 31, 2023 and September 15, 2023, five armed robberies occurred at two businesses in Selkirk. A male suspect entered the businesses with his face covered, produced a knife and demanded money.

A thorough investigation was undertaken by Selkirk RCMP General Investigation Section which included obtaining witnesses statements, viewing video surveillance, following up on tips and sending items to the lab for analysis.

After a lengthy investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect responsible for all five robberies and he was arrested on July 27, 2024, without incident.

Dylan Rogers, 27, of Selkirk has been charged with Robbery with a Weapon x5, Disguised with Intent to Commit an Offence x5, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x5 and Uttering Threats.

He was remanded into custody.
