RCMP seeking public’s help following theft of ATV’s and surveying equipment

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help following a theft of two all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), as well as surveying equipment in Moncton, N.B.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between May 8, 2024, at 9 p.m., and 7:25 a.m. on May 9, from an NB Power vehicle that in the parking lot of a hotel on Mapleton Road. One or more individuals stole two NB Power ATVs, as well as three pieces of surveying equipment.

The first ATV is described as a red 2012 Honda 500FM, with New Brunswick licence plate XV2 729, and vehicle identification number 1HFTE3821C4001506.

The second ATV is described as a red 2013 Honda TRX 680FA with New Brunswick licence plate XW0 977, and vehicle identification number 1HFTE332XD4800385.

The surveying equipment that was stolen is described as two Leica GS15 model surveyors. The first one has the serial number 1513385, and the second one has the serial number 1513465. A Leica TS15 model surveyor was also stolen, with serial number 1619258.

Anyone who recognizes the ATV's or surveying equipment from the photos, or has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
