RCMP seeking public’s help following theft

The St. Stephen RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify an individual in connection with a theft in the community.

The incident is believed to have occurred on October 19, 2023, at a business on King Street, in St. Stephen. The individual entered the store and left with approximately $200 worth of merchandise without paying.

The individual is described as a man, in his mid-twenties to early thirties, with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red baseball hat with white lettering, a blue shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone who recognizes the individual, or who may have information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the St. Stephen RCMP at 506-466-7030. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
