RCMP seeking public’s help following break, enter and thefts

The Keswick RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest following break, enter and thefts in Yoho Lake, N.B.

The thefts are believed to have occurred on June 15, 2024, between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m., from two seasonal homes on Chessie Road. An individual forcefully gained entry to the homes by breaking a window and a door, and stole a number of items, including:

  • Black and Decker cordless drill
  • Dewalt four-foot level
  • Spotting scope
  • Solo stove
  • Ryobi cordless brad nailer
  • Star link internet modem box
  • Google doorbell camera
  • Old laptop and case
  • Makita 18V drill and battery
  • Telescope
  • 32" smart TV
  • Bose sound bar
  • Amazon fire stick
  • A bedside lamp
  • A humidifier

Police are releasing a photo of the individual in hopes that someone may recognize him. The individual is described as being a man, approximately five feet six inches (167 centimetres) tall, with a medium build. He had brown hair, and brown eyes. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black and tan baseball hat, a black hoodie with the word "SYNERGY" on the chest and white lettering on the sleeve, tan gloves, camouflage cargo pants, and black sneakers. He left the scene driving a silver Buick Allure.

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photo, who lives in the area and witnessed suspicious activity during the time of the theft, or who has information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Keswick RCMP at 506-357-4300.
