The Codiac Regional RCMP is seeking the public's help in connection with an arson at a residence in Moncton, N.B.

On June 17, 2024, at approximately 3:30 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP received a report of a fire that had occurred at a residence on Williams Street in the community.

Through the investigation, it was determined that the fire had been intentionally set on the front porch. Owners were awakened by the smell of fire and were able to escape safely without injuries.

Police are now releasing photos of two suspects who were on the property in hopes that someone may recognize them.

Anyone who recognizes the individuals in the photos, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
