RCMP recover two stolen side-by-sides, one individual arrested

Members of the Tracadie RCMP detachment have recovered two side-by-sides, and arrested one individual in Saint-Isidore, N.B.

Between June 11 and June 13, 2024, two side-by-sides were stolen from two different businesses, one on Boulevard des Fondateurs in Saint-Isidore, and one on Route 365 in Tilley Road. Police began their investigation, which led them to an area behind the Saint-Isidore Church. At the church, police located what appeared to be fresh tracks in the ground. After following the tracks for a short time, police located the two stolen side-by-sides.

Subsequent to the investigation, police identified a person of interest, and executed a search warrant at a residence in Saint-Isidore. During the search, police recovered a number of items that had previously been stolen. A 21-year-old man from the community was arrested at the scene. He was later released on conditions pending a future court appearance.

The investigation is ongoing.
