Peace River RCMP, assisted by Western Alberta District (WAD) Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), are currently looking for assistance from the public in locating 33-year-old Atikameg, Alta. resident Kyle Edward Daniel Ominayak. Ominayak, who is known to frequent Little Buffalo, Alta., and Cadotte Lake, Alta., is wanted on warrants for charges that include:
- Pointing firearm;
- Forcible confinement;
- Flight from police;
- Obstruct police;
- Disarming a police officer;
- Assault with a weapon;
- Theft under $5000; and
- Theft of motor vehicle.
Ominayak is described as:
- Medium complexion;
- 5 feet, 7 inches tall;
- 170 pounds;
- Black hair;
- Brown eyes; and
- Has ''Ominayak'' tattooed on his back, across his shoulders.
