The Shediac RCMP is asking for the public's help to locate a missing 64-year-old man from Grand-Digue, N.B.

He was last seen on February 14, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., on the shore of Martin Street in Grand-Digue. It is believed that he was ice sailing in the Shediac Island and Grand-Digue area, but he has not returned. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Residents can expect an increased police presence in the area as a number of specialized services continue to search for him. Members of the Cocagne Fire Department, Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, RCMP Air Services, and local Ground Search and Rescue teams are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
