Lloydminster RCMP advises of heavy police presence – Update #2

On June 11, 2024, at approximately 7:06 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP received reports of a home invasion within the community. Upon arrival, RCMP located two individuals with gunshot wounds, who were later airlifted to the hospital. These individuals were later identified as being among the nine suspects who perpetrated the break and enter and are both are expected to survive. The investigation has also revealed the identity of a third suspect, leaving six as of yet unidentified.

As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old individual, a resident of Saskatoon and a 39-year-old individual, a resident of Onion Lake, Sask., have been charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence.

They have yet to be arrested as their medical status has not allowed for it. Furthermore, a 33-year-old individual, a resident of Edmonton, has been charged with the same offence, and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Lloydminster RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying the six outstanding suspects as well as locating the whereabouts of Warren Littlewolfe. Littlewolfe is know to frequent Lloydminster as well as Onion Lake, St. Walburg, Sask. and Turtleford, Sask. Littlewolfe is to be considered armed and dangerous, and the public is asked NOT to approach.

Littlewolfe is described as:

  • Medium complexion;
  • 5 feet 4 inches tall;
  • 140 pounds;
  • Black hair (sometimes dyed blond); and
  • Brown eyes.

On June 11, 2024, at 7:06 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP received a report of a home invasion in Lloydminster. Lloydminster RCMP arrived on scene and secured the area. Though the matter is still under investigation, preliminary information suggests that eight individuals were involved in the incident. An altercation ensued and shots were fired. Two individuals suffered life-threatening injuries but are expected to survive. Lloydminster RCMP has located four individuals and four others are still outstanding and as of yet unidentified. No other information is available at this time.

Though the scene will be secured for the ongoing investigation, the rest of the area has been reopened and the Lloydminster RCMP does not believe there is a public safety risk at this time.

Lloydminster RCMP advise of heavy police presence

Lloydminster RCMP would like to advise the public of a heavy police presence in the area of 39 Street and 57 Avenue in Lloydminster. Furthermore, 57 Avenue, between 36 Street and 40 Street, will be closed until further notice. Though there is no immediate concern for public safety, considering this is an evolving situation, the public is asked to stay away from the area while police respond.

We ask that photos and information regarding responding officers not be placed on social media until after the incident is over.

A release will be sent out once the scene has been cleared.
