Flin Flon RCMP investigate robbery and aggravated assault

News release

On January 28, 2024, RCMP received reports of an assault that occurred outside a business on Main Street in Flin Flon.

The victim was currently at his residence. Officers immediately attended and located the victim, a 24-year-old male, with significant injuries. He advised he was attacked outside a business on Main Street by a group of individuals. The suspects also tried to steal his bank card, but were unsuccessful.

The victim was taken to hospital.

Surveillance video was obtained which showed several males and females assaulting the victim by punching and kicking him.
Officers identified five of the suspects and they were arrested without incident.

Two females, aged 18 and 15, are facing charges of Robbery and Aggravated Assault. They were released from custody with upcoming court dates.

Collin Pruden, 22, has been charged with Robbery and Aggravated Assault. He was released from custody on a release order.

Darrel Dumas, 22, and a 15-year-old female, have been charged with Robbery and Aggravated Assault. They were remanded into custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
