34-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 34-year-old man from Rusagonis, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in New Market, N.B.

On May 27, 2024, shortly before 8 a.m., members of the Keswick RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 2, near New Market. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which then crashed and caught fire.

Members of the Upper Kingsclear Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist and member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office also attended the scene.
