A 19-year-old man from Saint-Louis-de-Kent has died following a boating incident off the shores of Richibucto, N.B.
On July 27, 2024, at approximately 6:15 p.m., members of the Richibucto RCMP detachment, Richibouctou-Village Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to a report of an individual in the water who had been struck by a boat.
The 19-year-old man died at the scene as a result of his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
A member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office is assisting with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
