Powerview RCMP continue to investigate the disappearance of Murray Courchene who last spoke with members of his family on December 15, 2022.
Since he was reported missing on January 3, 2023, Powerview RCMP have conducted numerous interviews and, with the assistance of RCMP Search and Rescue and Police Dog Services, conducted ground searches in the Powerview/Pine Falls area, without success, in an effort to locate Courchene.
"Murray Courchene, my son, is missed by me and many others from the community" said his mother, Theresa Courchene. "I want to know where he is, and I want to bring him home. Someone has information that can help find him; please call the RCMP and provide them that information."

On January 3, 2023, at 9:30 am, Powerview RCMP received a report of a missing 41-year-old male from the Fort Alexander First Nation.
Murray Andrew Courchene last spoke with family members on December 15, 2022 and has not been seen or heard from since.
The investigation to date has not resulted in any further leads as to the whereabouts of Murray Courchene. It's possible he may be in the city of Winnipeg.
Courchene is described as 5'10", 160 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with blue jeans.
