Springdale RCMP is investigating a fire that occurred at the Works Services and Transportation Depot on route 410 near Baie Verte on July 2, 2021.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m., police received the report of a fire. Two semi-tractor trucks that were parked inside the secure locked compound were on fire. There was no sign of forced entry into the compound. The blaze was extinguished by local firefighters and the vehicles were heavily damaged.
A fire scene investigator with Fire and Emergency Services has been engaged and the investigation is continuing.
