Codiac RCMP investigates convenience store armed robbery

The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on May 26, 2018 at JJ's Convenience located at 126 Vail Street in Moncton.

At approximately 7:25 p.m., a man entered the store with a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as being between 5'6" and 5'9' tall with a slim build. He had his face covered, wore a dark jacket with the hood pulled up and jeans.

Anyone with information about the robbery or may have seen a man fitting this description entering or leaving the store around the time of the robbery is asked to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
