Man and woman found guilty of importing cocaine

A Dieppe man and woman were found guilty on October 11, 2017 of conspiracy to import cocaine into Canada following an eight-week jury trial in the Court of Queen's Bench in Moncton.

44-year-old Luc LeBlanc and 39-year-old Michelle LeBlanc were charged in January of 2015 following an RCMP investigation into the importation of drugs that started in late 2012.

A date for a sentencing hearing has not yet been determined. The judge has remanded both in custody until the hearing.
